What actually matters when picking an estimation tool
Estimation tools are used for maybe forty minutes a fortnight, which means the deciding factor is almost never the depth of the feature list. It is how much friction stands between deciding to estimate something and the team voting on it. A tool that needs every participant to create an account costs you the first five minutes of every session with a new joiner, a contractor, or the stakeholder you invited for one story.
After friction, the things worth checking are whether votes are genuinely hidden until reveal, whether you get enough statistics to tell agreement from averaging, and whether the tool covers the other conversations your team has. Most teams do not only estimate. They also need to check confidence before committing and take the temperature in retros, and running three separate tools for that is how those practices quietly get dropped.
